The Website (as defined herein) is operated by Citizen Real Estate, LLC dba The Citizen (“Citizen”) on its own behalf or in combination with one of its affiliates (“us”, “we” or “our”). This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to the use of our Website located at and any other online and mobile websites operated by Citizen that are related to (collectively, the “Website”) unless a different policy is provided on a particular site or application in which case such different policy shall govern and control.  Citizen may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time without notice by posting the most recent version on the Website. 

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Website, emails, or other electronic messages between you and the Website and does not apply to our collection of information from other sources.

The use of the Website indicates that you have read, accepted, and unconditionally agreed to Citizen’s Website Privacy Policy and any applicable terms. This Privacy Policy, together with the TERMS OF USE posted on our Website, set forth the general rules and policies governing your use of our Website. Depending on your activities when visiting our Website, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions. 

We use your PII (as defined below) for providing and improving the Website. By using the Website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.


Collecting Your Personal Data

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website, which includes information provided at the time of registering to use our Website, subscribing to our online Website, making orders for products, or requesting further services;

  • Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes;

  3. For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services you have purchased or of any other contract with us through the Website.

Citizen will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.  We will retain your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Citizen will also retain Log Data for internal analysis purposes.  Log Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Website, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.


Your information is processed at Citizen’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

You have the right to delete or request that we assist in deleting your Personal Data that we have collected about you.

Our Website may give you the ability to delete certain information about you from within the Website.

Under certain circumstances, Citizen may be required to disclose your PII if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

  2. Protect and defend the rights or property of Citizen

The Website supports and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and other applicable laws.
