Originally bred by Big Buddha Seeds, Blue Cheese was created by crossing a UK-born Cheese female (a Skunk #1 phenotype) with a male selected from a cross of Blueberry and Big Buddha Cheese. The result is a uniquely vibrant sweet and savory flower that gained international recognition when it won the 19th Annual High Times Cannabis Cup in 2006. This one exhibits a plethora of solid-green peaks and valleys amidst a tangled web of long, stringy orange pistils and a moderate covering of trichomes. Blue Cheese delivers a cheesy, funky aroma with fruity, blueberry undertones along with a dank berry flavor profile. Those familiar with this classic, old-school indica-dominant hybrid return to it again and again for its entourage effect, which makes it an ideal early evening medicine.
